Family dentistry
A large part of what we do is everyday care for the whole family, from infants to grandparents. Most visits are simple and straightforward, and designed to prevent problems.

Keeping teeth healthy
- Exams
- A comprehensive exam looks for gum disease, tooth decay, infections and cavities early.
- Cleanings
- Regular cleanings remove the plaque and tartar that build up over time.
- Sealants and fluoride
- A protective coating on the chewing surfaces of premolars and molars, and fluoride treatment for growing teeth.
- Oral cancer screening
- A detailed look at the mouth for sores or red and white patches.
- Night guards and sports guards
- Custom-made guards for teeth grinding at night and for playing sports.
- Periodontal care
- A personalized plan for gum disease after a detailed exam, with regular maintenance for chronic cases.
For kids
- Well-baby lap exams
- A quick check for kids under 3 and a chance for parents to ask questions. There's no cleaning at this age.
- Pediatric dentistry
- Regular visits from about age one. We check for problems, remove build-up and polish baby teeth.
Repairing and replacing teeth
- Fillings
- Your dentist examines the cavity and chooses the best filling material for it.
- Crowns and bridges
- Crowns help restore a weakened, broken or decayed tooth. Bridges replace missing or damaged teeth.
- Inlays and onlays
- For decay that's too large for a filling but too small for a crown.
- Dentures
- Complete, partial and custom dentures to replace missing teeth.
- Root canals
- Used when an infection has damaged the pulp of a tooth. The procedure relieves dental pain and saves the tooth.
- Extractions
- For teeth with irreparable damage, and sometimes before fitting braces.
